About Church
The founder of "Pentecostal Church of India - Mettupalayam", Pastor G. Mohanraj, was born on 7th Feb 1954 in a small village called Sirukalichi in Tamilnadu, India. His Father, Gurubatham as Police and Mother as Arul Mani. He had Two Brothers and two sisters.
Pastor Mohanraj's mother nurtured him in the fear of the Lord. Even as a child, he read the Bible and prayed daily. In 1986 he married Hepzibha, who was a God fearing young woman and an epitome of God's love. In 1987 God blessed them with a daughter, Angelin, and God Blessed with One Son Mr. Godwin Samuel in 1988. We serve our God to the maximum and thereby prepare ourselves for the Lord’s coming.

Vision
“To make ready a people prepared for the Lord”
Our primary Vision is to produce disciples of Jesus Christ and to prepare them for the soon coming of Jesus Christ.
The goal of this vision is to bring glory to God by presenting Jesus Christ with as many Christ-like disciples as possible, before He returns according to Colossians 1:28.
“Whom we preach warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.”
- Reaching the sinners and teaching the saints.
- Sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with hundreds and thousands of residents in Mettupalayam, Coimbatore.
- Developing people to spiritual maturity through Bible studies, small groups, seminars, retreats and a Bible school for our members.
- Equipping every believer for a significant ministry by helping them discover the gifts and talents that God has given them.
- Providing people a good Church fellowship where the hurting, the depressed, the frustrated, and the confused can find love, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness, guidance and encouragement.
- Empowering every member for personal evangelism for the extension of God’s Kingdom here on earth.
- Planting new Churches in and around the city of Mettupalayam.
- Extending the possible help and assistance for the deserving in and around our Church.
- Starting a full-fledged Bible College for those who are really interested in being trained in the ministry.
- Procuring a large piece of land for our worship center seating thousands with beautiful, yet simple facilities including a counseling and prayer center, classrooms for Bible School for training lay ministers and full-time workers.
